Check Battery Light
« on: August 20, 2009, 06:22:09 PM »
So a few weeks back my Check Battery Light (or whatever you call it :P) came on and has been randomly coming on and off ever since then.  I unplugged the negative cable from the battery while the car was running and the car had no problems maintaining an idle... Can I assume the alternator is not the problem?  Thanks again.

No you can't.  Take your alternator off and take it to Autozone to have them check it.  You may as well take you battery to them to have it checked as well.
