buying crate 4.6
« on: February 19, 2011, 03:36:35 PM »
I purchased a 1955 F100 project, into which the past owner installed a 1998 mustang GT 4.6/5 speed.. I pulled the motor and it needs a lot of work. I have read some of the posts, and called a couple of engine builders in Charlotte, NC. Everyone seems to advise to buy a crate engine. Can someone guide me to the best place(s) to buy this engine? Ideally, I would like to buy something that is complete/turn key. I am not looking for big hp, just reliability. Thank you.
