4.6 2V heads?
« on: February 03, 2010, 03:16:25 PM »
so im looking to do something with my heads while my engine bay is painted, so im thinking either have my stock heads ported and polished, or throwing some patriot stage three heads...and i will be putting stage 3 com cams in either way i go....im leaning towards getting my stock heads ported and polished just because its sooo much cheaper. so my question is, will i notice the difference if i spend 600 more to get the patriot heads?

I PERSONALY would go for the after market heads and if you have money left over get a nice set of cams to match the style of driving you ike to do, that will give you a huge power increase.  a good set of cams on that engine by its self can be worth as much as 65 hp and the same or more torque. re maping the fuel curve will be manditory either way you go to optimise the gain.
