1996 cobra water bypass tube
« on: October 02, 2011, 04:30:54 PM »
Does anyone know of a fix for a leaking water bypass tube? Mine appears to be leaking from the area where the tubes come together near the air bleed plug.  Ford doesn't carry any replacements anymore. Thanks for any help!

find someone in your area that is good at braze welding or tig welding, it should be an aluminum crossover, as long as the air bleed plug isnt tooo much in the way they shouldnt have any kind of issues welding it right up but they gotta be real careful cause its easy to burn through, then just take yourself a die grinder, angle grinder or dremel and clean it up nice and pretty and reinstall.
