There is a reason why Ford put 17" wheels on that car. That's what fits the car. The 18's are obviously an inch too big. But, as Stephen said, get a baseball bat out and roll the fenders some, then whip on the inner fender with a hammer to make more room. Otherwise, you are going to be out about $1000 for the correct size of wheels and tires. You may say it's OK, and that you only have to make wider turns, but if you have to swerve quickly to avoid a crash, then your tires will prevent you from doing that. Looks vs. safety......safety wins out every time.
