Coast High Performance released a 427 C.I. crate motor based on the 351 Windsor small bloc.
Named the 427 Cobra Classic, it offers high performance in a small package, making it an easy install in any vehicle capable to receive a Ford small block wich means about all Fords. This engine comes complete including spark plugs and wires and delivers more than 500hp.

Racing another type of 60’s Ford. By Terry Sullivan.
Back in the early eighties, I had been racing an assortment of smaller engined cars in the U.K., namely MG Midget (mine) plus other people’s Alfa Romeos, Fiat X19’s etc. I’d managed to get races at most of the U.K. circuits with most of the racing clubs, one of them being the Classic Saloon Car Club. The front runners in this pre 65 saloon series tended to be Lotus Cortinas & 3.8 Jaguars.

Ford says the 2007 Shelby Cobra GT500 Mustang will be the most powerful factory-built Mustang in history, more powerful than the legendary 1969 Mach 1 428 Super Cobra Jet or the 1969 Boss 429.
When this car will hit the streets during the summer of 2006, it will have over 450 horsepower, making it the most powerful Mustang ever.

For the commemoration of the 40 year anniversary of famed Shelby/Hertz GT350H “Rent-A-Racer” program, Ford Racing and Shelby Automobiles joined forces to produce this reincarnation of the Shelby rent-a-racer from 1966. Like that car, it will wear black and gold paint. There will be 500 units, all badged, plaqued, and signed by Caroll Shelby and all available only from Hertz as rentals.
