Carol Shelby and Unique Performance are now producing 2005 Classic GT 350 SR Shelby Mustangs. They are built from 1965 and 1966 donor Mustangs with modern powertrain and comfort.
Are they real? Not for the fact that they are built today and not then but the GT 350 SR is as much a Shelby as the vintage cars. Caroll Shelby was involved in the development of these cars as he was in 1965. They are built as Shelbys and they are sold as Shelbys.
