Ford Mustang GT Turbo System Introduced by Turbonetics

June 1st, 2007

Simi Valley, CA June 1, 2007 — Turbonetics is pleased to announce that its bolt-on Ford Mustang GT turbo system is ready for sale and shipping now. Incorporating a patented Ceramic Ball Bearing turbocharger for immediate spool-up and custom ECU re-flash for silky smooth power delivery from the moment that you step on the gas pedal.

Turbonetics R&D team has conquered the complex Ford ECU on the Mustang to deliver forced induction unlike any other system offered on the market today. Our engineers overcame the tricky fly-by-wire throttle control to allow our turbocharger system to bring power in exceptionally early in the rpm range yet drive like stock. With no hesitations, herky-jerky low rpm starts, or partial throttle cruising hiccups that you will find on other supercharger and turbo kits, this system gives you complete control over your high spirited ride. Plus with no supercharger belt to drive you will have an extra 30-40 HP to put to the wheels since the turbocharger harnesses the engines exhaust gases to make power. Not to mention that fuel economy is better with turbochargers than other forced induction types because you control the boost with your right foot. The power is there right when you want it, and is not always sapping power and fuel efficiency like an rpm dependent/belt driven supercharger.

Mustang Events

May 2nd, 2007

Well, spring time is here again and that means Stang owners everywhere are gearing up and getting ready for the upcoming events for this season. So far, there are many Mustang shows planned and some are already over and done with. Many of the shows are for fun or charity and some for competition or show and tell, but all for the glory of America’s favorite muscle car, the Ford Mustang

Most events are giving out coupons, gift certificates and even giving away Mustang car parts from many of the top manufacturers in today’s market. Some shows raffle off some great aftermarket Mustang parts and give part of the proceeds to charities. They can range from a fancy new set of Mustang headlights or even a new set of Mustang wheels depending on the show you go to. Just taking your Mustang to the show and hanging out for the day could turn out to be a great experience. You may even end up meeting some new friends and if you are lucky, you might just drive home with a new Mustang hood scoop, a set of new tires, or even a new car!

No matter if you own a yellow, a black, or even a gold plated Mustang, there are many reasons to go out to the upcoming shows. Many shows have raffles and door prizes for attendees and even bigger prizes for event winners. There are usually classes for each of the different generations, models and customizations of all types of Mustangs. These shows bring out all types of Mustang owners usually, though some are for specific models. Some enthusiasts are strictly Cobra fanatics, while others maybe Boss fans but the shows are all there to pay respect and tribute to one of the original classic cars of our time, the Ford Mustang. Stay tuned for more info on upcoming events and shows in the Mustang community.

By: Mike Thomas | Ford Communications Network

The Shelby GT500 Red Appearance Package is being offered in a limited quantity to auto enthusiasts. For more information, go to Fordvehicles.com.

DEARBORN, April 23, 2007 - Can a unique vehicle be made more unique? Ford thinks so and has proved the point with the release of the Shelby GT500 Red Stripe Appearance Package.

Enthusiasts can choose the new package on a limited number of 2007 Shelby GT500 models to be produced for approximately five weeks between early May and the end of the 2007 model year production in late June.

“The Red package is all about exclusivity,” said Dan Geist, Mustang marketing manager. “The Shelby GT500 is an enthusiasts’ car. We’re limiting our production of this package and that fact along with the Shelby heritage makes the Red appearance package a dream for collectors.”
